Written and directed by Mani Ratnam, the film got much publicity due to the engagement of the star pair Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.. FRIENDSHIP by Deoyani Movies Pvt. Ltd. proved to be a big failure. Dayal Creations Pvt. Ltd.’s ANWAR is also a non-starter, despite presence of Manisha Koirala and Siddharth Koirala. K. Sera Sera’s RISK proved its title and the distributors are at a risk of loosing money. Interworld Motion Pictures’ MR. HOT MR. KOOL is a total loss. Though the producers are shouting from the roof-tops that their film is on the top, but in fact, it is a flop. Serene Picture Classics’ PARZANIA is an emotional film but its box-office prospects are very bleak. Moreover, it may find some problems in states like Gujarat.
