Barry Gardiner MP with other guests

The Pakistan India Friendship Forum which came into existence in the year 2007 with the initiative of Mr Rajan Sehgal, Mr Saleem Sheikh and many other friends with similar views, rejuvenated itself with new executive committee consisting of young and experienced members of the two communities in London. The new executive committee under the chairmanship of Mr Rajan Sehgal has been working enthusiastically to provide a forum for discussion, common entertainment and camaraderie among the people of the sub-continent resideing in Great Britian.

Consequently, a Musical Evening followed by Dinner, to celebrate Eid and Diwali was organised at the C & L Country Club, Northolt Middlesex on Friday the 10th of October 2009. High Profile Political Personalities gave talks supporting the need for a forum where friendship between people of Pakistani origin and people of Indian origin can be fostered. The office bearers were congratulated for organising such an entertaining programme. Artists like Sona Walia, Raja Kashif and Bollywood Dance Troupes, entertained a crowd of over 400 guests on the night. There were some surprise guest artists who enthralled the audience. Raffle draw with attractive prizes like Trip for 2 to India or Pakistan and electronic Items, aroused quite an interest. The function proved to be a great success.
